Hello again, readers! It’s time for my August reading wrap up. It felt like a good reading month. Things that felt unique included reading more graphic novels for the first time in a while, and doing more Kindle Unlimited reading. We bought Ryan a Kindle in July, so I’ve been trying to take advantage of the 3 free months it came with. Consequently, there’s a few books that aren’t on my Bookshop.org list this month, which I’ll link separately down below.
I finally got around to doing my Instagram Live here, so you can hop over there and listen to me talk about all the books.
You can find my Bookshop.org list here! And I also read The Green Ember by S.D. Smith (one of my favorites this month, actually!) and Falling for Your Best Friend by Emma St. Clair over on Kindle.
With lots of love from my library to yours,
Laura

Little dude can almost quote Mine, Mine, Yours. A cute story about a playdate with friends. |

Reading in our pajamas. |

Free tacos with mama! |

I can’t believe how big he’s getting. I read this with him when he came home from the hospital and bought it while I was pregnant with him. Now he can say “baby burrito.” |
|
The first graphic novel I’ve read in a while. Strange and has some gross moments, but really well done. I learned things and enjoyed the art style. |
|
The book, Plinka Plinka Shake Shake inspired getting out lots of instruments!
| We’ve been having lots of tea and coffee together! And the books are threatening to take over the living room. |
