Laura’s Reading Update — March 2023
All Thirteen was amazing! |
Hey readers and listeners!
Can you believe it’s time for another month’s reading wrap up? March crawled and flew by for us. I’m glad to finally have some nice weather days here in Kansas, and little man is enjoying playing outside. I’m enjoying listening to audiobooks while hanging outside with him. Reading by the window with the sun streaming in while he’s napping is delightful too.
It was Middle Grade March and I’m happy to report I read several middle grade books and enjoyed them. I’m glad I prioritized reading middle grade this month, but it still was only about a third of the titles I read. The rest were picture books and adult books, with about equal numbers of each. I tell you more about all of them in my Instagram live video here.
There is also a list of all the books on my Bookshop storefront, which you can find here: https://bookshop.org/lists/laura-s-march-2023-reading
I mentioned in the livestream that I read two books that have me looking forward to our trip to Lake Michigan this summer: Hello Lighthouse by Sophie Blackall and Good for You by Camille Pagán. If you have any books that are set in Michigan or make you think of summer trips to the Lake, I want to hear about them! Will you comment or message me? As always, I’d love to hear what you’re reading, too.
With lots of literary love from my library to yours,
Laura

He’s reading books to himself in his book corner and I love it so much. (He’s also forcefully requesting many read alouds from mom and dad) |
I won this cute bookish embroidered art and I was so excited to receive it in the mail. |
Keeping the library busy with our loans and returns |
